Pochen Festival
The inner city of Chemnitz (formerly known as Karl-Marx-Stadt) is a dense mix of architectural styles of different centuries; from a few historical places to many East German buildings constructed after the Second World War.
Although the general sound landscape is less varied, it offers sudden surprises.
The exhibition in the Pochen Biennale, where the public started the walk, offered a unique experience. The theme of the multimedia Biennale was “data collecting”. The public could listen to virtual reality controllers, collecting data machines, robots and complex computer systems.
